Computer Science I

This course is designed to cover the first of four years of Secondary Education in Computer Science, which provides essential skills in problem solving. It prepares learners for further education or branching to more specific and specialised fields of computing. Learners will be able to use the acquired skills to solve day to day life and work-related problems in the globally competitive information age.

The learning area provides a foundation for further studies in specialized areas of computing and equips learners with computer related skills for self-sustenance. Computer Science promotes innovative thinking for socio-economic development and equips learners with knowledge of the evolving nature of technology, while applying research skills in Computer based projects.
